We get up early today and head for the Ocoee River. We set up camp in a very picturesque woodland, and we all get ready to go white water rafting which hardly any of us have done before, and you can tell that we did not know what to expect.
At 14:00 we head down to the reception, and we are told that the rafting is a little delayed so we play volleyball for a while and the heat is getting to us it was beautiful sunshine not a cloud in the sky!!
Whitewater rafting is classed from 1 to 5 one being the slowest calmest and five being the roughest. The Ocoee river today was a class 4, so we were all getting a little nervous!!
It was so much fun, and none of us fell in which was handy. However, we all get soaked and a few times and the raft was completely full of water at one point. It was not as much of an adrenalin rush as I thought it would be but it was still pretty cool.
The trip lasted 3 hours, and we all had a good laugh.
We went into the town later on, and there was an American car cruise full of American muscle cars it was sooooo good… never thought would go to a cruise like that!!
In the evening Mike had made us Tacos and chile, and we all started drinking again. We all put our trainers around the campfire to dry. In the evening the Rafting guides came round and took us to another party where they gave us free beer, and they had recently hunted a deer, and we were eating it, and it tasted soooo good!!
Everybody was drinking and smoking very heavily, we were all wrecked, we woke up feeling very rough, and I found my trainers had caught fire in the night and were unwearable, so I had to wear flip flops…..happy!!
