Horseshoe Point – Arizona Desert

7, May 2009 By Danny

Today we were heading to Eastons Campsite. We stopped off on the way to do food shopping everybody was getting an arse on about money and that they didn’t want to eat sandwiches or pasta but then didn’t want to put any more money in so Me and Jane gave the remaining food kitty money back and said get on with it.

This really put tension on the group and Rachel was bitching about it a lot, yet she was the main culprit for the fact that we could not get any variety in our diets. I don’t actually think there is anything she likes.

We found it quite funny how she was blatantly flirting with Mads (the Danish lad) and yet her boyfriend Paul was completely oblivious to it!! She is a two-faced bitch and was always plotting to spend as much time with Mads as possible very funny!!

Anyway, so Jane and I were relieved to the fact that we could eat what we like and no one could moan… perfect!!

We drove to Horseshoe point which was very nice, and we ate lunch while Rachel moaned about being scared of heights, etc. ect

We arrived at Easton’s, and we were all meant to go swimming other than Rachel who is scared of water, but we found out that we had an internet connection, so myself and Jane decided to stay and catch up with some bits online…. Rachel decided that she would go swimming now.

We met a chap who was also using the Wi-Fi he was very cool loved his films and had good taste in cars I nice white Porsche. We got chatting to Mike, and he gave us about 50gb of films which were very very nice, and we spoke to him for ages he was just touring across America to get to where his dad lived, and he didn’t seem in too much of a rush.

He showed us some amazing photos and gave some great advice about LA and Hawaii….. thanks again!!

That evening I managed to catch up with the emails and work that needed doing on the websites, and at about midnight I went into the boat room where the others had been playing pool and getting very drunk!! Was a pretty good night really!!
