HedCamz

5, July 2012 By Danny

So while I spent last weekend at Goodwood Festival of Speed with my dad I stumbled accross Hedcamz and I was to say the least impressed with what I saw.  I am talking about some very small cool head mounting video cameras.

After a few demonstrations of the cameras and being very reasonably priced I was keen to get my hands on a couple of these cams to only give you guys some of the video footage of our 1500 mile cycle ride but also offer us some protection against car drivers as recently we have had one or two near misses and honestly I will happily hand over the video footage of a driver who is driving recklessly and endangering either janes or my own life.

So after a chat to Carl at HedCamz we struck up a deal where myself and Jane can use the head cams and we will give our reviews on the cameras whether they are good or bad and I am hoping that they are as good as they look and that they can endure the conditions that we will be throwing at them.

So what Head Mounting Video Cameras Have we ordered?

The Bullet HD

OK so I shall be using the Bullet HD which is this one.

Bullet HD Head Cam

The worlds first wearable camcorder with a 12.0 Mega Pixel camera!

It’s as light as feather and one of the smallest HD action cameras on the market!

It can be mounted on your goggles, helmet (vented or non-vented), handlebars, vehicle or any flat surface you can think of!

It’s aluminium armoured body is waterproof and shockproof so even the toughest situation and severest weather can’t stop your recording!

There are also 2 rechargeable batteries included to capture all your exploits too!

The HedCam Wide

And Jane will  be using the lighter and small HedCam Wide.

HedCam Wide

HEDCAM Wide is the wide angled version of HEDCAM with a 135 degree recording angle to capture all that action! It’s fully self contained with a built-in battery that gives 1.5 to 2 hours of filming in 720p HD mode. It takes MicroSD cards up to 32 GB which will give you hours of 720p video footage.

It comes with a range of mounting options allowing you to mount it on your head, arm, helmet, MTB, motorcycle, ski goggles and even your swimming goggles. It can be used for filming practically anything, whether it’s your favourite snow sport or filming the kids playing in the garden. It’s so small and light you don’t even know it’s there. Best of all, its waterproof to 10 metres too!

This really is a great package. It even includes a mains charger and a 4GB MicroSDHC (CLASS 10) card!

I will keep you all posted on what we think of www.hedcamz.com
