We drive to Rotorua today and get to our hostel nice an early, so we check in and find our room. It’s a pretty nice hostel actually, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
That afternoon we decide to go and drive to see some more waterfalls and after the sat nav taking us almost an hour in the wrong direction we finally get to the waterfalls. Not really worth the 2-hour drive but we did a nice long walk along the Okere River.
Jane needs to go to the toilet at the river and is really scared while she is in the toilet I drop a small tree branch her lap, you should have heard her scream it was very very funny Jane was not impressed.
We decided to take a walk around the Rotorua centre and see if I can find any jeans that I like and seeing as the fashion sense of the Kiwi is pretty desperate I did not fancy my chances.
We get back to the hostel and decide it was time to lighten our rucksacks and see what we can send home… I get rid of a lot of stuff, and we box it up ready for posting we are trying to keep the parcel under 10kgs.
After a stressful afternoon, we decide to get pizza and beer and have a quiet night in.
